This was a concert for the ages. ZZ Top's Tre Hombres Tour, Bad Company's debut, a drunk as a skunk, throwing up Joe Cocker, Santana, fantastic, as usual. This concert was sponsored by UT's student body. It was expected to draw 4-6 thousand people, instead there was 85,000. It was total chaos.

Thought Bad Company was going to be great, having seen them in Austin in 1974, but Ted Nugent played first, which was a mistake as he blew Bad Company out of the water. Bad Company was so pissed, they threw their instruments down on the stage, and walked off in humiliation.
