Book was discussed with Justine Bateman hosting the discussion. Q&A, DD spoke directly to me about not knowing The Reservoir was on Audible (I listened to it the day before) He told me he added a chapter to the The Reservoir that was not included in the Audible version, The Scare Owl. He told me I needed to be “a completist” and read it, “promise me you’ll be a completist”. I said I will. Then DD signed my book, he shook my hand, asked my name, then I told him he asked me “is that me on your shirt?” I opened up my jacket and showed him the full shirt. “I call him “hot Mulder” and he laughed. Told him it was a gift from my daughter (who was there with me) and then I explained that I am an OG DD fan. Love his writing, The Unnatural is my favorite, and I really believe he is one of our finest actors. He was looking right into my eyes, very humble, and he thanked me. He then shook my hand again.
