This was my very first concert and it made an indellible impression on me. After this one time, I was hooked on concerts and on Harry Chapin. Since then, I've seen over 120 concerts and while not all of them have been so great or memorable, Harry Chapin ranks up there. I feel very fortunate to have seen him live.

This is absolutely a true story: I went to this concert with my girlfriend and I was very upset when we arrived because I had a lot of trouble finding parking. Since it was general admission, I knew that we would get the worst seats in the place and I remember saying to my girlfriend that I was really pissed off. We get to the door and the guyy who took our ticket noticed I was upset. Her told us to follow him and he walked us up to the front row where there were little cocktai tables and he sat us front and center. I was in total shock and disbelief, I thanked him and my girlfriend asked me what I did and how I managed it. I told her I had no clue and she was as surprised as I was. Randy California was litterally 3 feet from us. We were eye level with his feet :) Amazing show and experience.

I went with a friend of mine and I remember we were standing in the back (near the entrance) and this tall, skinny guy came in alone, stood in the back for a half or minute or so looking at the stage and the audience, and I realized it was Neil Young. No one even noticed him bc they all expected him to come from backstage.
