My memory is that each band played only two, but no more than three, songs, so a lot of down time changing out the bands. I remember Cake played The Distance. Allen Ginsburg opened the concert reciting a poem. Was my first time hearing any of the bands. I liked Cake and Orbital. I went on to be a Cake fan. I was underwhelmed by Beck, but that was probably just me not able to absorb anything more by that point.
