Although Phil Collins walked out on the stage using a cane, and sat in a chair for roughly 80% of the concert, he still could sing his ass off. It was a great concert and his son Nicholas Collins filled in on the drums and was fantastic. He was joined by long time guitarist, Daryl Stuermer and bass guitar player Leland Sklar.

10/04/24 Acoustic Hot Tuna at the MIMS in Phoenix AZ. Acoustic Hot Tuna, Jorma Ludwik Kaukonen, Jr. is an American blues, folk, and rock guitarist. Kaukonen performed with Jefferson Airplane and still performs regularly on tour with Hot Tuna, which started as a side project with bassist Jack Casady, and as of early 2024 has continued for 55 years. Rolling Stone magazine ranked him No. 54 on its list of 100 Greatest Guitarists. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 as a member of Jefferson Airplane. The concert was preformed at the Musical Instrument Museum, the venue is very quaint with a room capacity of about 300. The show lasted almost two hours with no breaks. The songs may not have been all familiar, but the guitar and bass playing was incredible. There was great banter between the two and plenty of interaction with the mostly "older" crowd. Great fun, enjoyable evening.

Earth, Wind, and Fire opened the concert, had approx 45-60 minute set. They were excellent, lead singer, Philip Bailey, still has the pipes, hit all the notes. Lionel's show was just as good, sang all the Commodore hits as well as his own.
