no ticket stub; info from my old list and other shows on concertarchives.com; JOHN LESLIE played sax in the backing band for all acts on this tour, including the Monkees

The Monkees did not play at Merriweather in 1986. On 7/8/86, they played just down the road at Wolf Trap Park in Vienna, VA. No doubt that's the concert to which this page referring.
