We have been to many Judas Priest gigs. We’re not Deep Purple fans so, our point of interest was The Priest.
My husband is quadriplegic, so I needed wheelchair accessible seating. The front 5 rows were VIP, $450 each. So, I ordered via a real human, 2 accessible VIP tickets expecting to be seated in the promised front 5 rows: which were simply foldable chairs, easily removed. But, no.
We were shoved, literally, on the usual accessible platform on the right, about halfway up the venue. Told not to go near the edge because my husband’s motorised chair was too heavy for the ‘rickety platform!’
Our view was obstructed 80+%. No one gave a flying fuck that we’d paid nearly $1000 for two VIP reserved front section seat areas. We could see empty, removable seats below in the area we’d paid for.
The gig itself was bland. We couldn’t see 3 members of Judas Priest.
Badly done Ball Arena!
We have never received an apology, refund, or any interest in our blatantly phobic treatment. We HATE THAT SODDING VENUE!
