Stephen Butler's Concert Archive

I'm in my 50s (I know, I don't look it). I've been to some of the most iconic gigs of all time. I've also missed a few. Love me. And I'll love you back, I promise. x

This would be a great update to the 1990 gig, focusing on some of the artists that played the first gig 30 years ago and many that didn't. Average set length would be around 40-45 minutes, plus with a 15-minute changeover, you are looking at one hour for each band. Start at 12 midday.

Similar to 1990, Sting would play for half an hour then bring on a couple of his very best friends... Andy Summers, Stewart Copeland; then play for another half an hour.

Roger Waters would bring on David Gilmour and Nick Mason for some of his set.

Take That would bring on Robbie Williams for some or all of their set. Probably some. Yeah, definitely some. x

Unfortunately, the gig was not able to happen in my head because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All fantasy concerts were shut down in my mind to allow room for state and media induced panic and hysteria, and to worry about whether we're all gonna die or not. x
