I was there with my girlfriend of the time. They only opened one door; it was GA; it was a mess. I watched a documentary about it a couple of years ago where they recreated the scene outside and I must say it was pretty accurate; all the fear came back up.

I was a student in Oxford then. My ‘73 Beetle had no working radio. I walked through the door and my roommate said “nice to see you are still alive.” Huh? All my siblings had called to see if I hade made it.
