Good show, but short by Tuna standards. I think they played for about an hour and 50 minutes. Somebody said something about a curfew?

I believe the band were the Dictators, James Gang, and Blue Oyster Cult. Great show. A bunch of us went. 10+. The Dictators were complete garbage. I guess they were a precursor to Punk. They really really really really sucked. Sounded like they opened with a cover of Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive. James Gang and BOC were excellent. James Gang had already gone through a number of personnel changes. I think this line up included Dale Peters and Jim Fox as the rhythm section. Bubba Keith and maybe Richard Shack on vocals and guitar. They were surprisingly heavy. Played a lot from the Newborn album.

Concert was held in the gym at BCC. Went with my best friend Mike (RIP). We did acid that night. I had a great night. Mike, not so much. He had a bad trip. Incredibly loud show. We only stayed for part of Jeff Beck. It was just too intense with Jan Hammer's intense synthesizer. What we did see was great. REO Speedwagon opened the show. They didn't do their entire set. Thankfully they got laughed or booeed off the stage. Who the hell had them opening for Jeff Beck? What a stupid idea.

If I remember correctly, it was hot as hell and the concert was held in the gym. Seats were very uncomfortable. Renaissance opened the show and they were very good. Tuna was great and incredibly loud.
