I thought of you when they announced Bruce as a guest last minute! It was an awesome show. I particularly enjoyed Kronos Quartet's string cover of Elegie--it was incredibly evocative--and Glen Hansard's rendition of Beneath the Southern Cross. Southern Cross isn't my favorite of Patti's songs, but Hansard pulled so much emotion out of it. Sharon Van Etten's Pissing in a River was excellent too, but more so just because that song is one of my favorites.
