Chelsea Wolfe (born Chelsea Joy Wolfe on November 14, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Roseville, California. Her work blends elements of gothic rock, doom metal, folk, and darkwave, often described as "doom folk" and "drone-metal-art-folk." Growing up in Northern California with a country musician father who owned a home studio, Wolfe began writing poetry at age 7 and recording songs by age 9, which she later described as "basically Casio-based gothy R&B songs."...
