Смерть is an underground Latvian band widely recognized as the pioneers of d-beat in Latvia. Hailing from Kuldīga, they specialize in a raw, aggressive blend of crust punk, sludge metal, and old-school death metal. The group was originally formed in 2017 under the name Woodoom. In their early years, they focused more on stoner and sludge sounds.
