50 Cent (born Curtis James Jackson III, July 6, 1975) is a 48 year old rapper, actor, and entrepreneur who launched to international stardom after being discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre in 2002. The following year, he released his multi-platinum debut album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," which spawned the hits "In Da Club" and "21 Questions." Two years later, he dropped his sophomore album, "The Massacre," in 2005, which featured hits like "Candy Shop" and "Just a Lil Bit. It was followed by “Curtis” (2007), "Before I Self Destruct" (2009), and "Animal Ambition" (2014). After years of anticipation, 50 Cent’s sixth album “Street King Immortal” was shelved in 2021. As an actor, 50 Cent has performed notable roles in films such as "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" (2005) and the Starz television series "Power" (2014-2020).
