5th Avenue came together in the fall of 2009 when former bandmembers and songwriters of Zuluhouse, Adam Mattsson and Oskar Bill decided to start writing more AOR/melodic rock oriented songs. The band has it's origins in southern of Sweden in Kristianstad. 5th Avenue is currently working on material for an upcoming release, intended to hit the streets in the spring of 2010. The music itself is inspired by lots of different former and present acts such as Giant, Harem Scarem, Steelhouse Lane, Kansas and Dream Theater.
