The easiest way to say it is that ATR creates alternative arena rock. Did they just make that up? Maybe so. ATR is the sum of their influences. They are not reinventing the wheel but their wheel is one louder. If you enjoy Failure, Hum, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and STP, then good for you. ATR may not sound just like those bands, but they listen to them as well.
