There is more than one artist named Absent Minds. This Bio refers to the Punk Rock band from Portland, Oregon. Absent Minds consists of Joel Hixon on guitar, Davey Death Ray on Bass, DJ Woods on Drums, and Isaac Hayden on Cello. The band formed in 2007 as an acoustic folk punk band but quickly evolved into an electric cello wielding party in a minivan. In 2010 the band self released the EmergencEP to positive reviews. They are currently working on their new album that is due out late summer 2012.
