Acme Rocket Quartet Concert History

Acme Rocket Quartet formed in 1993 following the expiration of guitarist Roger Kunkel's previous band Thin White Rope. Steve Edberg played drums and provided a living room for "rehearsal". Dave Thompson played bass. Improvised jams became themes/songs that usually were loosely refered to during gigs. The music was instrumental and "wacky" drawing from diverse sources inluding Raymond Scott, 60s film soundtracks, Django Reinhardt, Miles Davis, Hiest movies and Lounge music.
