Air Bombay Concert History

Air Bombay is creating a sound that registers the inspiration and energy behind travel, exploration, and discovery. The basic instrumentation—12-string guitar, bass, keyboard and drums—is enhanced with warm synth leads, assertive rhythms, and vocal harmony. Lyrics range from the baroque musings of the poet in exile to the punch and swagger of the hip-hop MC. Individual songs achieve an intimacy between subject and location, but the set is defined by the ability to let go and continue to the next spot on the map.
