Alex Mendenall is a folk singer/songwriter from Lansing, MI. Drawing from folk, alternative, soul, jazz, and singer/songwriter, Mendenall's sound is eclectic and engaging. It could probably be best described as a combination of The Avett Brothers and Jason Mraz. His songs are reflections of life that feature carefully crafted lyrics and rich chord progressions. Mendenall supports his guitar and vocals with dynamic foot percussion in a way similar to Shakey Graves.
