Alexandra Hope's 2008 Concert History

Minneapolis born singer/songwriter Alexandra Hope makes her Manimal Vinyl debut with "Invisible Sunday". Nine tracks of sonic beauty and lush ballads. She first cut her teeth playing solo sets with Elliot Smith and Idylwild before trekking to Paris where her following grew to ecstatic proportions and critical acclaim. The tracks that make up this record bring to mind "Daydream Nation"-era Sonic Youth, early PJ Harvey with a touch of Phil Spector's 60's "girl-group" sounds.
