Alf Alpha is the alias of Southern California based DJ, producer and recording artist Rafael Lopez. A member of the Applebird Music Foundation and an affiliate of the East of L.A. Lifestyle Group, Alf Alpha is known for creating soul, funk and hip-hop influenced music and forging himself as a prolific live performer. Hailing from the Coachella Valley, Lopez's music is evocative of the laid-back lifestyle led by inhabitants of the California desert and much of his stylistic elements in sound and image are attributed to such.
