Amelia Ray is a travelling musician. This California native has taken her original soul rock music to Iceland, Senegal and many cities and festivals across Europe. Her eighth album, Scenes from an Icelandic Novel, based on Gunnar Gunnarsson's The Black Cliffs, will be released in 2015. Her songs have been featured in three documentaries and her versions of songs by groups as diverse as Roxy Music, Jellyfish, Squeeze and Toy Love may be found on Burning Sky Records' compilations.
