Amqa Concert History

Apple Maggot Quarantine Area was a hardcore punk band from the state of Washington in the 1980s. AMQA's early style was a quirky blend of classic American hardcore, but they evolved into more of a punk/metal crossover style that was typical of many popular punk bands of the time. Their lyrics often reflected an absurd sense of humor about topics related to rural working class life in the Cascade foothills beyond Tacoma.
