This female duo (Nicky Rushton and Rachel Collins) started out playing to small audiences at "The Forth" pub in Newcastle. They went on to achieve national attention after the 1988 release of their first album on Paint It Red records, "Anything But a Soft Centre". They toured nationally and played at the 1989 Glastonbury Festival. They went on to release "Centred" and "Sugar Baby Love" (1991) on Roundabout Records.
