Animal Magic Tricks, aka Frances Donnelly, studied as a writer and conceptual artist in East London. After moving back to her home town of Bournemouth, she learnt to sing whilst working in an old people's home, where she performed Vera Lynn and Billie Holiday for the residents. She now makes a blend of pop songs and noise music.
