Antoine is the stage name of Pierre-Antoine Muraccioli, who was born June 4th, 1944 in Tamatave (Toamasina) in France. His upbeat chanson music achieved wide popularity in 60s France and elsewhere in French-speaking Europe. He is perhaps best known for the tune "Bonjour Salut".
