Atoka Chase is an alt-folk outfit from Northern Virginia. Founded by Virginia natives Jared Hall Garland and Maya Cole Renfro in the winter of 2012, the band is known for it's raw, energetic, stripped-down live shows. Garland sings with a raspy growl, plays banjo, guitar, and a homemade suitcase drum. Renfro sings with a powerful, melodic, bluesy voice, accompanied by her guitar and hybrid violin/fiddle style. Both musicians take separate control of the movement of their live performances...
