Chile-based Atom™, is the alias of Uwe Schmidt, born in Frankfurt, Germany. Atom™ (aka Atom Heart, Señor Coconut) is a composer, musician and producer and one of experimental electronic music's most prolific and prodigious post-techno experimentalists. Atom™ began making music in the early 1980's, first playing drums, then switching to programming a drum computer after he had heard a Linn Drum on the radio.
