Awaken the Tide could be considered as old as 12 since bass player Zeus Creighton and Andee McMahon started writing music together. For years the two practiced and played in a leaky, Rhode Island basement. That is until high schoolwas over, and Andee joined the U.S. Marines. Unable to let the passion for music die, sometime later, drummer Cory Etter and Andee crossed paths in their respective tours of duty. And after knowing each other only a short time...
