Jeri Sapronetti and Corey Jenkins started sending demos back and forth during the hellscape that was 2020. Both were deeply invested in their bands at the time; Corey with power pop outfit Fancy Legs, and Jeri with long-running Akron rock/psych band Time Cat. Early 2021 saw the break up of each group due to…reasons. As soon as Time Cat ended, Jeri called Corey and they pulled the trigger on forming a new band to play the songs they had been working on.
