Bill Posters Will Be Band was formed in 1983 from ex-members of The Bonzo Dog Band, The Temperance Seven and Bob Kerr's Whoopee Band with the prime aim of having fun with music. The band was formed in 1983 by Biff Harrison, Jim "Golden Boots" Chambers, Evil John Gieves Watson, Sam Spoons, Hugh Crozier and Roger Ruskin Spear.
