Gegruendet wurde die Band März 1996, welche damals noch als Quartett die ersten Gigs bestritt. Vom aktuellen Line-up standen damals Markus Nellen, Michael Schäfer und Lars Heil in der Gründungsformation. 1997 wurde das erste Demo in den Greenworld Studios, Aengenesch aufgenommen. Februar '98 ersetzte Rouven den Gitarrisen, während die Vocals um Peters Stimmbänder ergänzt wurden. Ab Juli wurden die ersten Konzerte in der neuen Formation bestritten.
