Formed in October 2009, Black Paper Cats have wasted no time in establishing themselves as one of York's top acts. The summer of 2010 sees the release of a new EP, 'The Legend of Billy Rose', and it's clear to see that the band are moving in a defined direction - gone are the shread heavy, solo laden epics from their debut release. Rather the sound has evolved into a syncopated fusion of blues and rock, defined by hard hitting rhythms that anchor the grove while vocalist Dean Wilby bears his soul.
