Blank Slate began when Jon Vokal decided he wanted to gather friends for a new project shortly after releasing a solo single titled "Halfway to Harmony". Being in the music scene for quite some time, a group of great musicians with strong chemistry was gathered in no time. With Jim Tobakos on guitar, Hannah Boissonneault on bass, and Zach Murrell on drums, the band has reached for great heights since their June 2016 formation.
