Bob Marley & The Wailers Concert History

Bob Marley & the Wailers was a pioneering reggae and ska band formed in 1963 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer. Bob Marley performed with The Wailers for the majority of his career. All of his albums and singles were recored with the band, and he rarely performed or was billed as a solo artist. The band's final concert took place on September 23, 1980 in Pittsburgh. Marley, sick with cancer, was unable to continue performing and the rest of the concerts scheduled in 1980 were cancelled. Marley would succumb to the disease on May 21, 1981.
