Bodem is a new trio founded by saxophoneplayer Adia Vanheerentals with Willem Malfliet on guitar and Anke Verslype on drums. They search to combine the lyrical Scandinivian jazzsound with the brutal energy of the Chicago scene. They will never force a composition into endless soloing, but always remain in a gentle interaction with each other and the catchiness of the melodies.
