Boxwood is Jose Ferrer. He grew up in the ghettos of New York before getting lost on the beaches of Florida and finally retiring to a desert in Nevada where he spends his last days whittling and making tiny clay figurines. The Secret Life of Rocks is what he came up with when he locked himself in his bedroom and recorded his songs into a digital 8 track. Playing Death and the surgeon, one song rings out like a well rehearsed murder; Another will shake you like a patient being doctored by CPR...
