Bret Michaels (born Bret Michael Sychak, in Chicora, Pennsylvania, March 15, 1963) is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, reality television personality, and humanitarian. He first gained international recognition in the 1980s as the lead singer of the glam metal band Poison. Beyond Poison, MIcahels has also led a successful solo career. His first solo project, the soundtrack to "A Letter from Death Row," was released in 1998. In 2003, he released his debut studio album "Songs of Life." He's since released three other albums: "Freedom of Sound" (2005), "Custom Built" (2010), and "Jamin' with Friends" (2013). The latter two peaked in the top 100 on the US Billboard 200 chart. He has also appeared on many television shows and films, including "Rock of Love with Brett Michaels," "Guy's Grocery Games," "The Masked Singer," "Pawn Stars," "Impractical Jokers," and "American Pie Presents: The Book of Love." He is 61 years old.
