Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, better known as Bruce Springsteen or “The Boss,” is is a music icon and one of the pioneers of the heartland rock genre, which combines mainstream rock music with a narration about the working conditions in America.

The infamous nickname is due to the “mafia-like” situation where Springsteen collected money for every show he and the E Street Band performed at. Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa have been married for 32 years. They were married on June 8, 1991. Two years earlier, Springsteen divorced his first wife, Julianne Phillips, with whom he was married between 1985-1989.

It was rumored that Springsteen already had a relationship with Scialfa while he was still married to Phillips, sparking criticism from both his fans and the media around the time of the divorce.
