The single "Straight From the Heart" (1983) from his third album "Cuts Like a Knife" was his first top ten hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His fourth album, "Reckless" (1984), was the first to reach number one on the US Billboard 200 and spawned the classic single "Summer of '69."
