Burna Boy (born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, July 2, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria) is an internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter known for his fusion of Afrobeat, dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop. His music, primarily in English and Pidgin, reflects his Yoruba ethnic roots. Burna Boy rose to fame with his debut studio album, "L.I.F.E" (2013). His fourth album, "African Giant" (2019), was his first to chart globally, becoming a top 100 hit in the UK, Netherlands, Ireland, France, and Canada. Burna Boy's songs, like "Last, Last" (featuring samples from R&B singer-songwriter Toni Braxton's "He Wasn't Man Enough") and "It's Plenty," showcase his versatility with 2022's "Alone" being featured on the soundtrack for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." His sixth album, "Love, Damini" (2022), reached new heights, charting as high as number two in Ireland and the UK, six in Canada, and fourteen in the US. He was in a relationship with British rapper Stefflon Don between 2018 and 2022 and stands at a height of 6'1" or ~1.85 meters.
