Cari Clara is the experimental music project of Eric Diedrichs, guitarist of Cincinnati-based indie pop band Moth. Mellow, poignant sounds define many of his songs, with flowing, ambient distortions and a few creeping pop hooks. If that weren't enough, Diedrichs' vocals fit the mood impeccably, serving as a guiding hand that simultaneously leads the listener through haunting hollows and sympathizes with the listener's own emotional response to the song.
