Cartesian Ghost is a band born in 2015 as a result of the diverse musical interests of its members, influences that range from Katatonia, Tool, Pain of Salvation or Opeth, to other more classic metal styles such as Evergrey. The upshot of this diversity is a type of rock/metal that refuses to be pigeonholed and that contains forcefulness, hypnotic riffs, dizzying melodies and a visceral punch—a style that the band has chosen to call Arcane Metal.
