Chad & Jeremy was an English musical duo consisting of Chad Stuart (born in Windemere on 10 December 1941; died 20 December 2020) and Jeremy Clyde (born in Buckinghamshire on 22 March 1941). The duo began in 1962 and had its first hit song in the UK with "Yesterday's Gone". That song became a hit in the United States in the following year as part of the 'British Invasion'. The duo subsequently had a string of hits in the US, including "Willow Weep for Me", "Before and After", and their biggest hit, "A Summer Song".
