Chapeau Claque is an Erfurt, DEG, Germany band, founded by Maria Antonia Schmidt (vocals, formerly of zweiekkenkreis). Other members include: Jörg Wähner (drums), Peer Kleinschmidt (keyboard), Timo Kloeckner (guitar, accordion) and Tim Schaefer (bass). Their début release was the EP "Marienkäfer Im Nacken" (29 Sep 2006, 1st. Decade) and their latest is the album "Hab & Hut" (18 Feb 2011, Una Music).
