1. Characters is an Indie/Alternative fellowship from Central Coast, Australia. Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Benjamin Myer Welch ventured beyond his origins in folk music to explore the magical mysteries of synthesizers and electronic music. After a string of unfinished demos and a classic case of heartbreak, the dream lay lost. That's when something unexpected happened. Found by chance, or perhaps calling to be found, Ben's demos made their way into the ears of producer Alistar Karl-Crooks through a mutual friend years later.
