Based out of the Washington Metropolitan area “Cigarette does something rare with their music in that they do less with more,” suggests-Valerie Paschall of the DCist. “Their songs have a minimalist, almost catatonic effect, as if the listener has stumbled into a dream or some other ethereal plane. The band sounds as if they’ve effectively soundtracked a nature walk or a dream. It’s powerful, yet soft-spoken.“
