Clean Girls are a hardcore punk/noise rock band formed in Virginia, US in 2008. Drummer Stephen Reader and guitarist Chris Tracy started the band as a two-piece, practicing late nights in Ewell Hall, the music department on campus at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. In February of 2008, they made four demos and referred to these as the Cat Swap EP. Later that spring, they used the on-campus WCWM recording studio to record three more demos which became the Cat Ass Trophy EP.
