Col Joye Concert History

Col Joye AM (born Colin Frederick Jacobsen in Sydney on 13 April 1936; died 5 August 2025) was a pioneering Australian rock singer-songwriter, musician and entrepreneur with a career spanning almost sixty-seven years, starting from the late 1950s. Remembered as the first Australian rock and roll singer to have a number one record Australia-wide, he experienced a string of chart successes in the early Australian rock and roll scene, performing with his band the Joy Boys (formerly KJ Quintet).
